Cardiac Catheterization Lab Technician Travel Job

Prior to surgery, the technologist is responsible for ensuring the EKG equipment is in working order, and during the procedure, the technologist will monitor the EKG readouts and keep the doctor apprised of anything considered abnormal. The technologist will also prepare the patient for the procedure by cleaning, shaving, and, in the case of cardiac catheterization for angioplasty, anesthetizing the area of insertion.

Operating Room Surgical Tech Qualifications:

  • RCIS or RCES preferred

  • EP experience preferred

  • BLS required 

  • Two years of recent experience in an OR environment

Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Scrub tech for cardiac angiograms/interventions, neuro angiograms/interventions, and vascular endograph/peripheral vascular agngiograms/interventions, pacemaker implants/device cases.  Possibilty of EP and structural heart based on candidate experience.
