Cardiac Cath Lab Travel Registered Nurse Job:

Cardiac Cath Lab Nurses assist doctors performing these procedures. As a Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse, you can specialize even further in coronary catherization—procedures that involve coronary arteries, and take place in state of the art labs. In this specialty, you’ll have the opportunity to work with the latest technology in cardiac care.

Cardiac Cath Lab RN Qualifications:

• Active RN license in specified state or compact license
• Nursing degree from an accredited nursing program
• At least 2 years experience in Cath Lab setting
• EKG test along with Medication test during orientation
• BLS, ACLS certifications required (Not all facilities require ACLS. Please speak with representative)

Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse Duties & Responsibilities:

As a cath lab RN, you will be responsible for assisting in identifying, diagnosing and treating diseases using imaging technology. The RN will monitor the patient and assess the need for specific procedures.
